He has friends
Paul has a lot of really smart professionals in the brand, communications, marketing, digital strategy, nonprofit, and public sector support spaces. He collaborates with them on behalf of his clients, and forms work teams customized to each client’s needs. From time to time, you may see them on this website. For now, though, it’s just Paul.
His time at Make-a-wish
As the vice president of brand advancement for Make-A-Wish, he was the chief brand strategist. He led the organization’s complete rebrand in 1999-2000, and returned in 2010 to oversee a worldwide brand refresh that put the 36-nation network of Make-A-Wish chapters and affiliates under a single, unified brand identity and strategy for the first time in its history. During his second tour of duty there, Make-A-Wish enjoyed status as one of America’s five most beloved charity brands.
His work at the USO
At the USO, he served as senior vice president of brand advancement, leading a brand refresh that positioned the USO as America’s leading military- and veteran-serving organization as it celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2016. In 2017 and thereafter, he successfully launched a digital strategy that expanded the size and engagement levels of its online community of supporters and lowered the average age of its online content consumers. He also co-created and co-produced the USO’s 2018 World’s Biggest USO Tour, in which actor/comedian Adam Devine and Florida-Georgia Line performed from The Anthem in Washington, DC to a worldwide webcast audience of 5,000 troops and supporters, a first-of-its-kind entertainment endeavor.
